8th A

On Saturday, the 8A Lady Fiddlers started the District Tournament with a nail biting game against Patti Welder. We were down 6-5 at half time but came back for the win in the final minute of the 4th quarter with a final score of 15-12.

Morgan Gray had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals.

Brianna Esquivel had 3 points and 1 steal.

Kamryn Kestler had 2 points and 5 rebounds.

Carly Martinez had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Destiney Garcia had 2 points.

Alyssa Cobos had 4 rebounds and 1 steal.

Ehther Htoo had 1 rebound and 1 steal.

Emma Strakos had 4 rebounds.

Reagan Teehan had 2 rebounds.

The next game was the Championship game against Cade. The girls fought hard but finished in 2nd place with a final score of 32-4.

Morgan Gray had 3 points, 1 rebound and 5 steals.

Kamryn Kestler and Reagan Teehan finished with 4 rebounds each.

Zariah Gonzalez and Alyssa Cobos had 3 rebounds each.

Carly Martinez and Emma Strakos added 1 steal each.

8th B

Saturday the Lady Fiddler B team played in two games at the District Tournament and won second place. The girls played harder than they have ever played and made everyone extremely proud. Game one was played against Howell and the Lady Fiddlers were victorious with a score of 22 to 7. The Championship game was played against Cade. Although the girls fought hard they were defeated in the second half 24-9.

The 7th grade B team played in their district tournament Saturday and got 3rd place.
