The Travis Lady Fiddlers 7A team started their season strong. Scoring 62 points against the Howell Wildcats. We had to back off early in the game. Players who scored were Arin 8pts, Caedyn 18pts, Celeste 12pts, Kendyl 4pts, Gina 12pts, and Kaylee 8pts. As a team, we had 16 assist, 26 steals, and 23 Rebounds. Way to go Lady Fiddlers! Score 62-11
The 7th grade B team had their first basketball game of the season last night against Howell and won 30-18
Ashlyn Maldonado led the team with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals, and 3 blocks.
Savanna Garcia had 6 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 steals.
Azelyn Garcia had 6 points, 1 rebound, and 5 steals.
Gabbi Munoz had 4 points, 1 rebound, 1 assist, and 3 steals.
Ashley Anderson, Aubre Amerjorado, and Kiera Camacho each had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 steals.
Jennifer Duran, Ginsie Cumbie, and Sara Yarborough each had 4 steals, and 1 rebound.
The girls played a great first game!
Their next game will be next Thursday November 15 at 5pm at home.
The Lady Fiddlers 8th grade A team defeated Howell 32-12 in their first game. The Lady Fiddlers showed great hustle and team commitment. They played outstanding defense and ran the floor with the ball controlling the game the whole time.
The team totaled 32 points, 97 rebounds, and 67 steals. They were led by:
Morgan Gray with 10 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 steals.
Phoebe Huang with 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 steals.
and Faith Gaytan with 4 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 steals.
There next game will be Thursday, November 15th at Stroman.
Tonight the Lady Fiddler B team faced off against Howell in their first home game of the 2018 season and were VICTORIOUS! Our hard work and dedication is certainly showing. Coach Turner is very proud of every Lady Fiddler B team player. Tonight's score was 20-18 Travis.
